Hawk
March 11, 2010A decent sized bird perched itself outside of my dining room window last night and just kind of stared at me. It was… off-putting.
The flash didn’t scare it away, and it just kind of sat there and watched me. If anyone could tell me what type of bird this is, I’d be interested to know.
I believe this is a Peregrine falcon, not a hawk. The make their homes in cities. They help to keep pigeon and rodent populations down. That is strange behavior for a bird of prey.
